Four Seasons will open new hotel in Bogotá
Starting April 2016, the former Hotel Charleston will become The Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá, following complete building upgrades
The new hotel will count as the brand’s second location in the city, after the recent opening of luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogotá in October 2015.
Company's General Manager Luis Argote commented on the new opening:
“Our two Four Seasons hotels in Bogotá complement each other, and both are unlike any other Four Seasons in the world. While each Four Seasons hotel is as unique as its place and its people, the common thread throughout is a passion for quality and signature Four Seasons service that makes every visit memorable.”
Designed by Lauren Rotett, the 64-room hotel is a modernistic one, with useful and comfortable technological accents. Featuring custom-made beds, completely refurbished bathrooms, an all-new Spa and a Matrix training equipment fitness center, Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá introduces Kuru, a new Japanese gastronomy concept.
The hotel's restaurant was designed by Saul Sasson and is led by Executive Chef Pablo Peñalosa. This is where the Chef and his team of cooks will prepare the famous robata grill dish for the hotel's guests.
As an innovative design feature of the dinning place, customers will be able enjoy Saul Sasson's perforated wall that let the lights artistically come in, imitating night-sky constellations.
“We wanted to create a light-filled space that could offer multiple options for guests to dine, drink and enjoy time with friends and colleagues,” Argote adds.
Down into the hotel's lobby area, guests will find a very relaxing velvet couches open gathering place to enjoy coffee or drinks before special events.
