Jimmy Kibati announced as fastjet’s general manager for East Africa. fastjet is Africa’s most trusted low cost airline, making the move noticeable in terms of marketing paradigm shifts.
Mr. Kibati comes from Kenya Airways where he is currently operating as a commercial director.
His professional goal is expanding fastjet’s portfolio into East Africa with the help of the airline’s management team.
As of March 17 2014, Jimmy Kibati will be stationed in Dar-es-Salaam, supervising fastjet Tanzania.

Jimmy Kibati brings more than 20 years of experience along with him, joining Kenya Airways in ’92, as soon as he had finished studying at the KenyattaUniversity in Nairobi.
His professional skills have allowed him to move up the ladder, towards the position he will be occupying at fastjet by the middle of March. Among these positions, perhaps one of the main reasons for his acquisition, is the network planning and airline strategy management. Corroborate this with more than two decades of experience and you get a strong, exponential move for fastjet.
