Wyndham Garden Hotel Opens In Barranquilla, Colombia

Wyndham Hotel Group has celebrated the opening of the Wyndham Garden Barranquilla hotel in Colombia, in joint partnership with local company Inversiones Rueda Leon.

The hotel is the company's 13th property in Colombia and has 91 elegant rooms, each containing guest rooms equipped with a mini bar, flat-screen HDTV and iPod docking station.

Wyndham Garden Barranquilla is situated in the financial district of the city, close to the headquarters of several banks, major corporations and industrial parks, as well as the world-renowned shopping for which both the city and Colombia are famous.

The Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport is easily accessible from the hotel, as well as acclaimed restaurants, medical facilities and the port city of Cartagena.

The non-smoking hotel has enthusiastic staff that is available 24 hours a day and also offers a business centre, fitness centre, free high-speed Wi-Fi and indoor parking.

Its 80-square-metre event room can host up to 80 people in a theatre-style setting or 40 if the event is a sit-down banquet, offering access to a sundeck and gardens for refreshment breaks or break-out sessions.

The rooftop contains leisure facilities with sweeping views of Barranquilla, while the on-site restaurant offers complimentary breakfast with Colombian and international dining options.
