Travelwires.com’s reflection on the year 2009
For me March was the turning point as I entered the blogging scene full-time, after having worked for a boss for almost 9 years. Throughout the year, there have been happy moments and stressful ones due to delayed payments.
Overall 2009 has been a very challenging year for myself in running Travelwires.com since blogging is a very difficult industry niche to monetize. It takes time and effort to get the buy-in of potential advertisers who want a return on their investment. Without impressive traffic, it becomes a very impossible goal to achieve. Readers on the other hand demand quality content for them to remain loyal readers of your blog.
In August, I welcomed my son Travel news pause please, while I welcome Kuhle!
This opened travelling opportunities which were previously a distance away for my reach.
