SAACI appoints Adene Pringle as new General Manager
Adene Pringle has been appointed as the new general manager of the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI).
SAACI National Chairperson Nina Freysen-Pretorius has welcomed Pringle to SAACI, saying the association looks forward to working with her and reaping the benefits of her expertise.
“Adene is a conference industry stalwart and we are confident that her experience and skills will help SAACI reach the goals it set at the recent lekgotla of the national board. We welcome her to the SAACI family and trust she will find the environment stimulating and rewarding.”
Pringle has been in the conference and exhibition industry for the past 22 years. She started her career at the Institute of People Management and was responsible for organising the annual conference and exhibition.
She went on to start her own professional conference organising company before joining the Sandton Convention Centre, first as sales manager for exhibitions and in the past two years as sales manager for associations. She is a qualified school teacher.
Pringle will take up her position on 4 January 2010.
