General Manager, John Gray renowned as an “opener”, recently joined Lonrho Hotels with 35 years hospitality management experience with mentionables such as Cresta Mowana in Chobe, Indigo Bay Island Resort in Mozambique and Elephant Hills in Victoria Falls.
John’s French speaking team includes Paul Murry worked with cruise liners during the early years of his career and later operating at Scotland, UK and Dubai based hotels. Locally Paul is well known from hotels such as the Protea Balalaika and the Sun International Carousel.
Parisien born, Laurent Mathieu, worked at various Michelin rated restaurants at home as well as Air France before moving to South Africa in 1989 to join Sun International, later opening hotels in Zambia, Namibia and Nigeria.
Jean Marie Muamba joins the team as Financial Controller after 15 years with large companies such as Southern Sun Garden Court, Emerald Casino Resort, Sun International and the Karos Group.
Yves M. Tshamala heads up the Human Resources department following studies at Ottawa University and a stint with the Department of Human Resources and Skills Development in Canada.
