Conference Industry welcomes Thandiwe January-Mclean’s appointment as the new SA Tourism CEO
The Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) welcomes the appointment of the new Chief Executive Officer of South African Tourism, Thandiwe January-Mclean.
Nina Freysen-Pretorius, National Chairperson of SAACI says the filling of this crucial industry position comes at a very important time, as the tourism industry gears up to welcome the record number of visitors to South Africa expected in 2010.
“We congratulate her on this appointment, wish her well and pledge SAACI’s continued support for the work done by South African Tourism’s business tourism division to promote the country as a conference destination.
“We look forward to working with her and the team at South African Tourism, particularly to grow the Meetings Africa business tourism exhibition next February.”
