African Pride Hotels set to unveil 2 new hotels in Cape Town

Protea Hotel’s superior deluxe hotel offering, African Pride Hotels continues to add 5-star hotels to its portfolio. The most anticipated additions in Cape Town are weeks away from opening their doors to enthusiastic guests. The stylishly sophisticated 15 on Orange Hotel in the CBD and the iconic Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa, in the nearby urban node of Century City, are both set to open in December.

According to Danny Bryer, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Protea Hotels, the new property additions will offer superior accommodation and world class facilities in line with the strategic vision of the group. “We are confident that both new properties will add value to the African Pride Collection.  African Pride Hotels operates exclusive superior deluxe properties which embody the proud spirit of Africa and demonstrate the luxury accommodation offerings of the Protea Hospitality Group.”

15 on Orange Hotel is one of the more exciting elements that form part of the inner city regeneration making Cape Town one of the most commercially lucrative places in Africa. This stylish and ultra-sophisticated hotel with its ultra-spacious suites and unparalleled public areas is centrally located, just minutes away from Cape Town’s major tourist attractions, including the beaches, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront.

Barely 10kms out of Cape Town in the satellite retail, business and residential hub of Century City, the iconic Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa, aimed at the discerning business traveller with its unique bedrooms and stellar conferencing facilities, is set to open alongside the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere, Canal Walk Shopping Centre and less than 20 minutes away from Cape Town’s CBD and the international airport.

African Pride Hotels is positioned as Africa’s luxury hotel brand with a collection of superior deluxe hotels, lodges and country houses located in strategic locations that add value to the international and domestic luxury traveller.  The collection is made up of 17 strategically located properties throughout South Africa and extending to Namibia and Kenya. An understanding of the luxury market has enabled each hotel to offer discerning guests a unique and personalised experience that meets and exceeds their expectations.
