Serena Hotels embarks on an extensive refurbishment program

Serena has embarked on an extensive refurbishment program that will result in the revitalization of 5 of its properties within the next year.

Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp and Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge have already been completed with the renovation and replacement of soft furnishings in guest rooms and public areas including the reception, lounge and dining areas.
While the original architecture and traditional interiors have been retained, the properties have been given a fresh breath of life with the newly fitted furnishings that are depicted by vibrant hues and elegant textures.

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is currently undergoing similar refurbishment and will be closely followed by Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge in the first quarter of 2010.

Concurrently, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is undergoing a refurbishment that will see the renovation and extension of 29 guest rooms. Completion date is anticipated to be in mid-December 2009.
