Job Opening: Junior & Senior Web Developer, travel company (Cape Town)

WHL Consulting is part of the larger WHLGroup of independent travel orientated companies. It focuses on improving the competitiveness and long term sustainability of small and medium travel enterprises in emerging economies. WHL Consulting works hand-in-hand with whl.travel (another part of the WHLGroup) to provide clear and established channels to market for quality local travel product that it also helps develop.  There is a growing requirement for a small tech presence in Cape Town to construct and work on small web projects for our ever expanding global network of local travel professionals.

Responsibilities:
Develop new web-based platform to easily build and manage a collection of small, basic, template driven travel company websites.

Create small budget custom designed travel websites based on client requirements.

Must have:
Good working knowledge of CSS, PHP, AJAX, HTML, XML, Javascript.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
Strong personal commitment to quality service.

Desired:
1-3 years experience.
Online portfolio of previous work.
Familiarity with building CMS platforms.
Experience using or constructing APIs (Facebook, Apple App store, etc.).
