Davison’s Camp joins the Safari & Adventure Co. Portfolio

Safari & Adventure Co. is proud to announce the addition of Davison’s Camp in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe, to its portfolio. The addition of Davison’s Camp means that Safari & Adventure Co. now operates in six southern African countries and adds an important wildlife destination to its repertoire.

Davison’s Camp is situated in south-eastern Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s premier wildlife destination and conservation area and within easy distance – by road or air – from the majestic Victoria Falls. The Linkwasha Concession, in which Davison’s Camp is located, offers a compelling mix of diverse habitats and wildlife.

The camp has 9 twin-bedded tents situated in the shade of a grove of false mopane trees, is open all year round and can accommodate children of 6 years and older. The tents and the main area, comprising a lounge, dining room, and open campfire area, all look out over the productive waterhole.

Wildlife frequently encountered in the concession and even at the camp waterhole includes lion, large herds of elephant, buffalo, leopard, white rhino, spotted hyaena, giraffe and sable. In summer, wildebeest, zebra and eland are found in abundance on the open plains, while in winter the waterholes are magnets around which elephant in enormous numbers congregate to drink.
