Cape Town to host inaugural Destinations Expo

Cape Town is getting a new holiday and travel expo. The Destinations Expo will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 22 – 25 October 2009.
Visitors will receive a wealth of inspiration and direction for when planning their next holiday, business trip, event or conference. Make use of many special offers on holidays, safaris, cruises, city breaks, adventures, travel services and more. Plan and book your next holiday or business trip and stand a chance to win fantastic prizes in the daily competitions and lucky draws at the show. These include romantic breakaways, family holidays, spa treatments and travel vouchers.
Apart from the exhibition, visitors can also travel the world by attending interesting presentations, talks, shows and enjoy cultural experiences, wine tastings and food pairings. Don’t miss the cocktail party on Friday 23 October (see website for details).
Destinations aim to become one of Southern Africa’s top holiday & travel exhibitions for the consumer market and welcome all exhibitors in the tourism and travel industry. Destinations will not only showcase local South African destinations, accommodation, recreation and travel services, but will also play host to some of Southern Africa’s leading destinations like Namibia and Botswana.
The show will be open daily from 10:00 – 18:00. Entrance is R50 per adult and kids under 18 enter for free. Pensioners and students receive a R20 discount. Tickets are available at www.destinationsexpo.co.za and at the door. All paying visitors will receive a copy of the Destinations Travellers Guide (valued at R29.95).
