British Airways named top brand for South African business flyers
British Airways, operated by Comair Limited, was recently awarded with first place in the Sunday Times Top Brands Awards survey. The airline came first in the Business-to-Business category, with kulula (also operated by Comair Limited) jetting in at a close second place. British Airways also came second in the Business-to-Consumer category, a new category included in this year’s survey due to the rapid growth of the airline industry.
Susan van der Ryst, British Airways marketing manager comments, “Our success can be attributed to investing in enhancing the airlines premium service and by concentrating on our people and the consistent quality of service they deliver”.
“Innovation and creating value are also essential to upholding the British Airways brand proposition and we are therefore always looking for an opportunity to improve our customers’ experience. From the time our customers book on ba.com to the speed of self service check-in and the freshness of our new Woolworths onboard catering, we are always striving to offer an even better experience in all aspects of our service delivery, ” added van der Ryst.
