Swazi Trails and Dirty Boots circumnavigates Swaziland in 12 days

Just got an alert from Darron Raw, Swazi Trails founder that himself together with Johan Radcliffe from Dirty Boots are circumnavigating Swaziland. Their mission is to cover the entire 550km boundary without using any motorized mode of transport, but through walking and mountain biking. Journey started yesterday on 11th August 2009 and if all goes according to plan they intend completing trip in 12 days.

Why this kind of an adventure, you might ask? This isn’t a charity awareness campaign or world record attempt, it’s simply to try something that has never done before…recording their own travel history in a nutshell.

I say good luck dudes, I wish I could have joined you to kill a few of the extra kilos in my carcass.
