Twelve Apostles Hotel voted No. 1 in Africa and Middle East

The 5-star Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, Cape Town, South Africa, renowned for its superb accommodation, signature menus, stand alone location and award winning spa has been voted the No. 1 City Hotel in Africa and the Middle East and the No. 1 Hotel Spa in Africa and the Middle East in Travel + Leisure’s 2009 World’s Best Awards readers’ survey.

Travel + Leisure’s 14th Annual World’s Best Awards poll asked readers to rate the best hotels, spas, cruises, airlines, outfitters, cities and islands and the Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, part of The Red Carnation Collection, came out in the first position in two categories.

Brilliant for the 12 Apostles – I’ve eaten there once, and it was sublime (with the backdrop of an couple who got engaged that evening behind us). Still want to experience a night there sometime.

Didn’t realise that Bushmans Kloof is a sister property – do you know who the common owners are?
