Mashovhela Lodge appoints Sandro Rothenburg as new GM
Mashovhela Lodge situated in the Soutpansberg of South Africa has welcomed Sandro Rothenburg as manager of the Lodge.
Ingrid Hahn, Operations Director of the lodge says “Sandro has fitted into the team well and he has lots of experience in managing lodges. Another bonus is that he is fluent in German, which will be of great value to our many German guests”.
Rothenburg was born and educated in Germany before heading out to Africa where he previously managed Sanbona Khanni Lodge in the Little Karoo. He has also worked at Okuti Safaris in the Okavango Delta and Aquila Game Reserve in the Cape and now has decided to take in the beauty of the Soutpansberg.
Mashovhela lodge is well known for its responsible and eco-friendly principles and was recently awarded a Gold Leaf, the highest award presented by the Wilderness Foundation. With new enthusiasm and new ideas Rothenburg will lead the strong Mashovhela team to new heights.
