Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality to launch in SA
13 Jul
Putting hospitality industry on a more professional footing CTH (The Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality) is in the process of being introduced in South Africa, with the aim of enhancing the skills and expertise of new and upcoming students who wish to pursue their careers in the SA Tourism and Hospitality Market.
A catalyst for the move is the 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer next year and the need to ensure that the tourism and hospitality industries are as well prepared as possible.
CTH management programmes are recognised by universities as offering equivalency to degree level study and CTH Diploma students may therefore gain direct entry onto the second year of a variety of tourism and hospitality, degree programmes. Similarly, CTH Advanced Diploma students may enter onto a degree at final year level.
To study for a CTH qualification, or to obtain more information on a centre near you, visit the CTH website at www.cthawards.com and/or http://lsm-business.blogspot.com/ or contact grant@cthawards.com
