Holiday Inn Express launches in Pretoria
The new Holiday Inn Express Sunnypark officially opened its doors for business on 4 May. Developed by ISO Leisure – the exclusive licensee for Holiday Inn Express in South Africa – the property showcases the modern, fully featured rooms and luxury finishes that are becoming signature for the brand.
Work commenced in March last year to convert Pretoria’s iconic, 20-storey, Sunnypark residential tower into the largest new Holiday Inn Express to date in South Africa, comprising of 304 rooms.
The hotel is attached to the Sunnypark Shopping Centre, offering a multitude of retail outlets and restaurants and is adjacent to major new state administrative assets, including the Department of Trade and Industry’s large-scale Trade Campus. The Great Room, two meeting rooms and bar are raised six storeys above ground level (above the shopping mall) and open out onto an expansive, fully-landscaped roof-garden with water-features and panoramic vistas over the Pretoria skyline.
All rooms feature stylish, contemporary interiors, which ensure a sophisticated stay.
