Hilton unveils ‘Hhonors’ loyalty program
Sandton – With the global economic pressure the cost of travel continues to increase, but that doesn’t mean would-be travellers should put holiday plans on hold. With the Hilton HHonors guest reward program, hotel points can be easily redeemed for stays, with No Blackout Dates and no capacity controls, taking less of a bite out of one’s travel budget. HHonors members can also earn hotel points and airline miles for the same stay.
“The HHonors program has no capacity controls and all standard rooms are available for rewards, not just a limited number each night,” says Gerhard Patzer, general manager of the Hilton Durban.
The No Blackout Dates feature offered by Hilton HHonors enables members to confirm any standard room that is available using their HHonors points at any of more than 3,000 Hilton Family hotels worldwide including the Hilton Durban and the Hilton Sandton. And while room rates fluctuate, HHonors rewards remain consistent offering exceptional value to members.
“Members have traditionally considered Points & Miles a highly valuable benefit that distinguishes us from the competition, and combining this unique offering with No Blackout Dates reinforces HHonors as the world’s most rewarding and flexible hotel loyalty program,” said Axel Hauser, general manager of the Hilton Sandton. “Our goal is always to make traveling easier and more enjoyable for our guests, and No Blackout Dates offers our loyal members more flexibility to use their points when and where they desire,” concludes Hauser.
Unlike some other hotel programs:
- HHonors has no capacity controls. All standard rooms are available for rewards, not just a limited number each night.
- HHonors does not require additional points to avoid blackout dates. Some hotel programs black out reward rooms and require their customers to redeem significantly more points to bypass those blackouts.
- HHonors does not exclude certain properties. Every Hilton Family hotel worldwide offers No Blackout Dates. Some competitive programs exclude selected properties.
- HHonors members enjoy the benefits of earning both Points and Miles while other global programs require members to choose between hotel points OR airline miles.
