Welcome Tourism strenghtens sales team

Johannesburg – Sabine Blehle has been appointed sales director at Welcome Tourism Services, a member of Tourvest Inbound Operations.

At the same time, Rory Phelan has been appointed the international sales executive for Russia, the Netherlands and the USA, while Gabriella Truman has been appointed an international representative in the USA.

Managing director Martin Botha says the appointments served to strengthen the company’s sales team to help support its growth in the inbound tourism sector and to take the company to the next level in its pursuit of industry leadership and further improvements in service levels.

Blehle joined Welcome Tourism Services from Germany in 1997 and was the company’s sales manager looking after the Germanic-speaking countries.  Phelan joined Welcome Tourism Services in 2004 and has worked in the reservations and business development departments.  Truman is the president of Trumarketing and oversees Welcome Tourism Services’ interests in the USA.
