African Pride expands

African Pride CollectionCape Town – The African Pride Collection of superior deluxe five-star hotels, safari lodges and country houses has increased its portfolio to 17 boutique hotels and safari lodges in the last year. The two most recent additions, The Mount Grace Country House & Spa and Endless Horizons Boutique Hotels, have also succeeded in increasing the group’s presence in Gauteng and Kwazulu-Natal respectively. According to Danny Bryer, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Protea Hotels, the two new property additions offer opulent accommodation and superior facilities in line with the strategic vision of the group.

“Both properties are well suited to the African Pride Collection operating exclusive five-star properties which embody the proud spirit of Africa. They also strategically increase our footprint in South Africa by joining our list of other exclusive hotels.”

The Mount Grace Country House & Spa, approximately an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, and located in the majestic Magaliesburg Mountains, comprises 81 guest rooms and suites arranged into secluded villages, each soft country comfort themed. In keeping with the groups five-star luxurious appeal the hotel boasts three restaurants and an outdoor Hydrotherapy Spa Garden which consists of a heated Jacuzzi pool, an invigorating waterfall and the Elixir Liquid Sound Flotation Pool.

Endless Horizons consists of 10 luxury rooms, each tastefully decorated in a unique contemporary Zen style and featuring spectacular sea views. The hotel caters for conferences, executive board meetings and special occasions with a glass-expansive venue designed to take advantage of the magnificent surrounds for up to 80 people.
