Tourvest appoints new Sales and Marketing Director

Johannesburg - Tourvest has announced that Blacky Komani, a non-executive main board director since November 2006, has joined the group in a full-time capacity as sales and marketing director of its Financial Services division, which operates the American Express foreign exchange business.
Blacky will give up his board appointment on Friday 8 February 2008.
It was also announced today that Morne du Preez, currently financial director of Tourvest’s Outbound Travel Services division, has been appointed chief executive of Tourvest Retail Travel. He succeeds Gavin Stevens, who is leaving the group to pursue his own business interests.
