Business Tourism Company workshops Meetings Africa team

Johannesburg – The Business Tourism Company’s Rick Taylor recently dished out its well-known ‘corporate vitamins’ to the Meetings Africa team.

In a three-day training workshop, Rick, one of South Africa’s top business tourism experts, brought the team up to speed with the state of the international and local industry and the latest trends, with an emphasis on trade show marketing.

“I was delighted when Thebe Exhibitions & Events expressed the need for this workshop.  A team working with the entire business tourism industry has to have a full understanding of its raison d’être to be optimally effective in growing its flagship marketing platform – Meetings Africa,” says Rick.

The workshop included all aspects of business tourism including destination branding and management, the marketing of meetings and incentive travel.

Meetings Africa 2008 will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre on 27 and 28 February (full days) and on 29 February (half day).
