Restaurant reviews on radio

Cape Town – Online restaurant guide Dining-Out, in conjunction with two local radio stations, is facilitating restaurant reviews over the radio. Various celebrities and radio personalities have been eating out at selected restaurants and giving reviews on air.
Cape Town’s Good Hope FM has a feature entitled “Dining Out with Natalie Becker” which airs on a Thursday evening at 6:40pm. Celebrity guests dine at the selected restaurant and Becker then interviews them getting their impressions on the food, service, ambiance and other aspects of their experience.
“Lunch with Varshan” on Durban’s Lotus FM handles its restaurant reviews from a slightly different angle. The guests visit the restaurant on a Friday lunch time at 12:00pm and are called on cellphone a number of times during the meal. Their review with Varshan is broadcast live to listeners.
Both radio stations have a web page on www.diningout.co.za, where past radio reviews listened to, and links to the reviews are also located on the Dining-Out restaurant pages for those restaurants concerned.
