Manley Communications wins Riebeek Valley Olive Festival account
Riebeek Valley – The success of last year’s Riebeek Valley Olive Festival publicity campaign has secured the account to Manley Communications again for 2007. The annual event which is hosted by the neighbouring villages of Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West takes place over the weekend of 5 and 6 May this year.
The festival highlights the region’s prosperous olive industry and is also an opportunity for visitors to sample the neighbouring wine farms who in recent years have won prestigious local and international wine awards. Only an hour’s drive out of Cape Town and located in the Swartland district, the valley’s real estate industry has seen tremendous growth over the past two (2) years, seeing the successful launch of new quaint guesthouses, fine restaurants and interesting bric-a-brac shops.
Manley Communications brief is to profile the festival and to highlight the Riebeek Valley as a new and exciting alternative to the neighbouring Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek regions.
