Virgin Atlantic reveals it will increase Orlando flights from Manchester

Airline News

Virgin Atlantic has revealed its plans to increase capacity from Manchester to Las Vegas and Orlando for next summer.

To respond to high demand to two of its most sought-after destination, Virgin Atlantic is adding 24 more services to Las Vegas and Orlando, which raises with over 8,000 the total additional departure seats for next summer.

Sir Richard Branson's airline is adding a second daily flight from Manchester to Orlando on Thursdays and Sundays during July and August.

This translates to a total of 12 extra return flights that will take place over the school summer holidays. This increases the total weekly flights from Manchester to Las Vegas and Florida from 11 to 13.

Virgin Atlantic will also be introducing another weekly flight from the UK destination to Las Vegas from July to October.

The additional flight is scheduled for Tuesday, thus the total number of return flights will be three per week over the summer season.

"We are really happy to reveal we are increasing flights from Manchester to Orlando and Las Vegas for summer 2015," said Joe Thompson, director of network and alliances at Virgin Atlantic.

"We're focusing on our customers and offering them the best possible service at a good price.  Our competitive pre-Christmas sale fares, reductions in fuel surcharges and the Government’s cuts in APD for children makes us believe 2015 will be a great year for our customers and holidaymakers alike."
