Villa Lavaya, a luxury Villa in Camps Bay, won the “Service Excellence Award” in the 5 star self catering category.
The inaugural Lilizela Tourism Awards national winners were announced on the 12th September at a sparkling function held at the Tshwane Events Centre and attended by the who’s who of the tourism industry. These inaugural awards celebrate the best of the tourism industry’s service records and act as a benchmark for excellence across the tourism sector.

“The Lilizela Tourism Awards were created to honour the outstanding contributions of tourism establishments and individuals who are driving innovation and delivering quality service and products. All of the winners – provincially and nationally – have not only set the standard for global excellence, but they have also demonstrated why our country continues to be one of the most frequently visited by tourists from all over the world,” says Minister of Tourism, Mr Marthinus van Schalkwyk.
The Villa is represented, managed and marketed by Nox Rentals, Cape Town’s premier Villa Management company. Nox Rentals manage a portfolio of 75 luxury apartments and villas in Cape Town’s most exclusive suburbs, have been in operation since 2002 and are currently based in their Head Office in Camps Bay. The MD, Nick Taylor, said “We are honoured to represent a Villa which has achieved national recognition in a very competitive segment of the industry. We believe that the Owners have paid particular attention to detail in the design and development of their property, and this achievement is reflective of the hard work and dedication to the entire project.
