Vancouver and Delhi connected by Air Canada

Non-stop flights from Vancouver to Delhi beginning October 20 will be introduced by Air Canada

The three-times weekly flights service by Air Canada will boost connectivity between Canada and India just in time for the Diwali festivities this year. The new non-stop route is considered to be an important part of the Canadian and Indian cultural and economic ties.

Benjamin Smith, President of Air Canada, explains:

“Customer response to our Toronto-Delhi service has been extremely positive, and with this new seasonal Vancouver route, we are strategically increasing our presence in the important Asia-Pacific market in time for Diwali festival celebrations. Our non-stop Dreamliner flights from our Vancouver hub will also offer the shortest elapsed flying time from Calgary, Edmonton, Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles to Delhi.”

The flights will be available for the passengers until April 8, 2017 and operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner airplane featuring 298 Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class seats. The airline will be the first North American one to offer Premium Economy services including priority boarding, premium catering, check-in and baggage facilities.
