An airliner was examined immediately after landing in Los Angeles International Airport, where a terminal was evacuated because of security alerts, informs Daily Mail
American Eagle Flight 5931 operated by Compass Airlines on the route Houston (George Bush Intercontinental Airport) - Los Angeles International Airport, was targeted by a less credible bomb threat.
The plane landed safely. For reasons of precaution, authorities checked the plane. SWAT officers and a sniffer dog were seen boarding the inbound plane from Houston, Texas, as they assessed the possible threat.
The Mirror newspaper revealed photos that show flight AA5931's 67 passengers and four crew members being evacuated from the plane via a portable stairway in a remote part of the airport. The nationalities and ages of the passengers are currently unknown.
The plane was kept away from the terminal as officials, including the FBI, investigated the threat. A representative of the airport police, Rob Pedregon, declared for NBC that he had received a phone call announcing the presence of a bomb on the plane. According to sources, on board of the aircraft there was not suspect devices found. Also because of security alerts, Terminal 1 of the Los Angeles International Airport was temporarily evacuated.
