Quito is South America’s top destination - WTA

Quito has been awarded the title of South America’s Leading Destination during the World Travel Awards.
The city has received the prestigious award for the second year in a row.
Quito has also hosted the Gala Ceremony for the WTA, during which numerous tourism stakeholders and media representatives have gotten to get a full grasp on what the location has to offer.
It seems like the award has a strong impact as this competition is often referred to as the Tourism Oscars in South and Central America.
Aside from the en-titre win from Quito, Ecuador has also received the award for South America’s Green Destination and the Ecuadorian Tourist Board has receive the award for South America’s leading Tourist Organization.
In full glory, The Cruise Train, another Ecuadorian attraction, has won the award for South America’s Leading Luxury Train.
