Possible MH370 debris reported by Australian authorities
Airline News
Recent satellite images have been released by Australian authorities with what appears to be a form of debris. The hypothesis of a connection with flight MH370 has been launched.
Australia has been involved in the search for the missing plane, scouting the southern Indian Ocean for any clues that might indicate the plane’s mysterious fate.
A high amount of resources have been mobilized for the search of the 239 people who boarded on the Malaysian Airlines flight.
While heading from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, the plane has lost contact. Recent updates indicate that the contact has been canceled deliberately.
Floating in the Indian Ocean, Australian authorities have found satellite images with a 24 meter object. However, there is a very strong possibility that the object is unrelated to the plane in question.
So far, there have been numerous debris sightings which eventually turned out to be false alarms.
As of today, none less than 26 countries are involved in this search for Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.
“The Australian Maritime Safety Authority has received information based on satellite information of objects possibly related to the search.
“Following specialist analysis of this satellite imagery, two possible objects related to the search have been identified.” - Tony Abbott, Australian prime minister
The search for the missing plane intensifies as more proof suggests an intentional divert from its scheduled course. With what appeared to be intentional altitude oscillations, there are many questions to be answered to.
