The Parisian museums will be reopened after the floods

Due to the fact that the floods constantly ease, the Paris museums will be reopened for tourist worldwide
Even though important parts of Normandy region in France are still under the waters after the floods hit the country last week, the Parisian museum are to be reopened. Sunday, tourists and locals enjoyed the riverside Grand Palais exhibition hall opening. The building, constructed for the 1900 World’s Fair welcomed its guests with an exhibition by the Chinese artist Huang Yong Ping.
Also, two of the most visited tourist attractions in Paris are preparing to reopen to the public after the floods last week. Louvre and Orsay museums announced they would make every effort to remove the consequences of the rising waters of the Seine at the highest rate in decades, but today, June 10, they remain closed. It is debatable whether this weekend tourists visiting the French capital will be able to visit them. The two museums located nearby the Seine River were closed in order to evacuate the basement floor collections of threatened waters.
"We are very vigilant so that should there be more bad weather, there won't be consequences," the French President Francois Hollande declared in an interview with France Inter radio, adding he was confident the monthlong European Championship soccer tournament that starts on Friday would be a flood-free event.
After a week of incredible heavy rains all over the Europe, more than 18 people died in flooding in countries such as Germany, France, Romania and Belgium. In Normandy, the Seine River reached its maximum ampleness on Sunday. More than 11,000 French homes are still with no electricity.
