Norwegian Cruise Line boosts luxury cruise experience by introducing new Norwegian Edge program with exclusive guest advantages

The high quality of the services the company provides translates into the $400 million investment for ship refurbishment that Norwegian Cruise Line will complete until 2017.

Andy Stuart, Norwegian Cruise Line president and chief operating officer, commented:

“Norwegian has a long history of investing in its fleet to offer guests the latest and greatest innovations, but the investment to raise our ships to The Norwegian Edge standard of excellence takes it to new levels.

“The new standards of The Norwegian Edge programme will entice our guests to return again and again to ships that will look and feel as if they were just delivered, with all new menus and new dining experiences, visiting incredible exclusive destinations that reflect the quality finishes, amenities and outstanding service found across the Norwegian fleet.”

The Norwegian Edge programme aims to create better holiday experiences for the cruise line's guests, by approaching improvement of every detail that makes cruising more pleasant for customers.

New ships, full enhancements of the fleet, a varied gourmet culinary menu that will provide the ultimate dinning experience are set as investment's goals.

New destinations will also be added to Norwegian's routes: Harvest Caye resort in Belize and Great Stirrup Cay island in the Bahamas will feature into the cruise line's schedule.

Details on the spectacular transformation of Norwegian services will be announced later this year.
