New supersonic jet concept set to revolutionize air travel

Technology
The 30 minutes trip between New York City and London could become a reality sooner than you imagined

Canadian designer and engineer Charles Bombardier aims to change air travel forever with his latest supersonic jet concept, the Skreemr. The futuristic jet is set to be charged using an innovative magnetically-electric system. Unbelievable travel speeds of Mach 10 are also featuring the technological characteristics of the supersonic jet.

By igniting liquid oxygen, the aircraft will gain unprecedented speed and altitude, such as 6.600 m.p.h. and 40.000 feet.

"The Skreemr would be used as a commercial aircraft to fly from one continent to the next," the Canadian engineer declared.

Latest Skreemr project has proven to be a real challenge for Charles Bombardier and his team, as many project related problems still await for an appropriate solution. Passengers' safety is the main concern, as the project's team has to find a way to prevent them from passing out due to takeoff pressure and speed during flight.

Bombardier is not the only ambitious supersonic jet builder in the field. Airbus, for instance, has recently patented design plans for the Concorde 2, an aircraft set to reach impressive Mach 4 speeds.

With the 30 minutes trip between New York City and London closer to becoming a reality, the jet is currently being tested by United States' and Chinese military organizations.
