New mobile app for Sentido hotels launched by Thomas Cook

The new augmented reality app set to bring Sentido hotel collection closer to customers


20 of the brand's hotels can now be interactively experienced via ultimate digital tool launched by Thomas Cook.


Filmed footage of bars, restaurants, rooms, surroundings and views, pools, beaches, wellness and gym facilities of the hotels are presented to the visitors aiming to make informed holiday choices by using digital tours technology.


The app can be downloaded for free via App Store and Google Play. Once installed on smartphones, the app allows customers to access extra content for more on-line features.


The managing director of Thomas Cook, Chris Mottershead, commented on the launch:


“We have developed our brochures with this additional functionality to better serve our customers and showcase the Sentido hotels we have within our portfolio before they book.


“It’s important that we meet the needs of our customers and by developing the information we have available and the accessibility to it, we can certainly guarantee greater satisfaction.


“In the long term, we’re hoping to be able to introduce the app across our other brands including smartline, SunConnect, Sunprime and Sunwing, so that all of our customers can benefit from this new experience.”
