New Gatwick to Bucharest route from Wizz Air
Wizz Air announces launching of direct flights from London’s Gatwick Airport to Bucharest Henri Coanda starting June 18th
With the launch of the new service Wizz Air will provide the only direct connection between Gatwick and Henri Coanda Bucharest, enabling easier access to Romania from the hub in south London.
Owain Jones, chief corporate officer at Wizz Air declared about the new route:
“This new Wizz Air daily service from Gatwick brings the best low-fare travel option for people traveling between south London or southern England and Bucharest – the only direct flight.
“WIZZ is a leader in opening Central and Eastern European cities for UK business and leisure travellers, offering very low fares from nine UK airports, coupled with Wizz Air’s superb on-board service.
“With our new Gatwick service starting in June, we offer four flights a day between London and Bucharest from two airports and we are the only airline to have direct service to Bucharest every day from both north and south London.”
The new Gatwick service will be the fourth daily Wizz Air flight connecting London and Bucharest, as the company already flies from Henri Coanda to Luton three times a day. At the same time, the southern airport will be the ninth hub in the UK to host Wizz Air services.
