LeSEE on-screen media delivery concept car will be the car of the future
Tech billionaire Jia Yueting attended a presentation held on the Beijing LeSports stadium last week. During his speech, he unveiled the world a small electric car called LeSEE, produced by LeEco company. According to Yuetin, this car concept will leave Apple and Tesla cars behind.
“We’re not just building a car. We consider the car a smart mobile device on four wheels, essentially no different to a cellphone or tablet,” he declared for Reuters.
Yueting aims to build a car equipped with a full-range ultimate entertainment technology. He also believes that the car costs can be covered by selling the entertainment content it comes with, such as movies, TV shows and music, especially for the business models of LeSEE.
According to the owners of this project, a car that combines fast internet with fast speed is considered to be the next step in the era of connectivity. When it comes to design, LeEco concept car delivers futuristic innovations, by combining elements of electric and autonomous cars with all-in-one screen-based entertainment outstanding features.
“EVs for us are just another screen. We see cars in the future as an extension of the internet, another entry point for us to sell web-based content and services,” added Hank Liu, LeEco cofounder and VP, underlining that his company plans to focus on virtual connectivity when building the new concept car.
