Keep Kruger Clean Campaign influencing people to change their behaviour about littering in the park
Kruger National Park’s (KNP) HOD: Tourism and Marketing, Ms Lucy Nhlapo has officially launched the “Vukani the Vulture” mascot today, Wednesday (25 July 2012) during the Keep Kruger Clean Campaign. The mascot will assist in keeping Kruger clean by influencing people to change their behaviour about littering in the park.
“It is so important to us, that we cannot stop this campaign because KNP receive more than 1.4 million visitors per year. The increase in the number of people means an increase in the number of many other things, one of which is littering” said Ms Nhlapo.

The events took place simultaneously under the theme “Collectively striving for a clean Kruger and healthy environment.
