“Handy” to be launched by Montcalm London Marble Arch
The Montcalm Hotels are the first in UK and Europe hospitality industry to launch a smart-phone service for their customers
The high number of overseas business and leisure travellers motivated Montcalm to introduce the Handy smart-phone service.
The Montcalm London Marble Arch hotel will be the first to launch the facility, to increase on-line and mobile service connectivity when travelling in a different country for millions of business or leisure visitors and counteract poor abroad service inconveniences.
The Handy devices will be available for use entirely free of charge, for both local and international calls and 3G Internet data. Travel hot-spots recommendations, maps and booking services will also be included for free in the Handy service. For security purposes, all private information and browsing history will be cleared when checking-out of the hotel.
The managing director of Montcalm Hotels, Ramesh Arora, commented on the innovative project:
“In the digital era, complete mobile connectivity should be a given, so we’re delighted to be the first hotel group in the UK to offer this service with the Handy smart-phone.
“It demonstrates our commitment to putting the customer first by offering them the very best value during their stay, because it means our international guests can stay connected to their world, with our compliments.
“It’s just one of the ways we’re applying digital innovation to enhance the guest experience”.
