WTA's Leading City Break Destination in Europe launches innovative campaign for its visitors

Also called “the Capital of Peace”, Geneva is one of the most popular cities in Switzerland, known for its culture, traditions and cosmopolitan flair.

The unprecedented campaign from Geneva Tourism ads an innovative contest offering winners “1,000 free nights in the finest hotels”.

Philippe Vignon, chief executive of Geneva Tourism, expressed his enthusiasm over the latest idea to promote the city:

“We have created this campaign specifically for the leisure traveller who we feel is looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay amidst a city rich in culture and activity. We are incredibly excited about this campaign. It is a great achievement and testament to the strong relationships with our partners to be able to launch such a unique and generous project. We extend a warm welcome to our guests who will be discovering our destination.”

Participants can register on-line and share the contest's link including #InvitedByGeneva hashtag. One thousand lucky winners will have the opportunity of spending one night in one of the city's hotels and also cover their expenses for the return trip, by winning complimentary flights. Guests can book their favourite rooms between July 11th and September 12th, 2016.

The competition for one free night in Geneva is on until May 17th, 2016.
