has announced the supplying of aviation fuel for Russian flights made by Air India in Domodedovo Airport, Moscow.
Gazpromneft-Aero was already supplying Air India on their Moscow-Delhi route during which they use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This route is operated four times a week.
The fuel quality offered by the company is in accordance with Russian and international standards, making it eligible for Air India.
Aircraft fuel is brought to the station directly from Gazprom Neft refineries.
“The signing of a long-term cooperation agreement with another airline in the Star Alliance is for us the latest consecutive step towards strengthening Gazpromneft-Aero positions on the international market.
“Today the quality of the company’s services complies in full with modern international standards, which allows us to offer our clients a service of equally high quality in any airport where we operate.” - Gazpromneft-Aero general director Vladimir Yegorov
Resource management by the Russian companies has been a key interest point for the international market, as investors are looking to see if the context that comes along with the Ukrainian situation has shaken trade in this sector.
Deals like the one made between Gazpromneft-Aero and Air India tend to indicate a future trend of flexibility in the business sector involving Russian resources.
