Garuda Indonesia launches new Heathrow route

The airline will connect UK to Indonesia through its new London to Jakarta service, set to operate from Heathrow Airport Terminal 3


The new non-stop direct flight service will be launched on March 31st 2016 at Heathrow Airport Terminal 3.


The service will operate five flights per week, every day except Mondays and Fridays, cutting out on the departures the previous stopover at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Return flights will connect Jakarta and London via Singapore.


By launching this new service, Garuda Indonesia aims to increase Indonesian connectivity to the world and to highlight the company's presence in Europe. Customer's will enjoy unique Indonesian experiences when flying with Garuda, including aromatherapy and traditional dishes.

“Flying non-stop direct to Jakarta means we will truly be the most efficient way to reach Indonesia from the UK.”


The new route will be served by a three-class configuration Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
