Frontier Airlines, recognized as America’s Greenest Airline, celebrates Earth Day with $43 fares reflecting its 43% greater fuel efficiency compared to other U.S. carriers. This one-day sale honors both the planet and the airline's commitment to sustainability.

 

In celebration of Earth Day, Frontier Airlines, known for its leading fuel efficiency, is offering travelers a special deal on airfare. To emphasize its status as America’s Greenest Airline, Frontier is providing $43 roundtrip domestic fares and $43 one-way fares to and from Puerto Rico, available only on April 22, 2024. This promotion underscores the airline's average 43% better fuel efficiency than other major U.S. carriers.

Tyri Squyres, Frontier’s Vice President of Marketing, expressed the company's ongoing commitment to sustainability, "Our consistent efforts to enhance fuel efficiency and minimize our environmental footprint have solidified our status as America’s Greenest Airline. Our initiatives range from operating a modern, ultra-efficient all-Airbus fleet to using lightweight seats and featuring endangered species on our plane tails. Over the past year alone, we saved 133 million gallons of fuel, equivalent to removing 263,000 cars from the road for a year."

The special fares are part of Frontier's broader initiative to engage customers in their sustainability efforts, celebrating those who choose to fly with an environmentally conscious airline. Alongside this offer, Frontier recently introduced UpFront Plus, an upgraded seating option providing additional comfort and space, enhancing the passenger experience.

The promotional fares are available for purchase until 11:59 pm Eastern time on Earth Day and are valid for travel on select days through October 31, 2024, with certain blackout dates.
