Finnair inaugurates Edinburgh to Helsinki new route

The Finnish air carrier has launched Edinburgh to Helsinki flights


The three hours route enables Scottish passengers to travel to Asia via fast transfer in Helsinki.


The flight is currently available three times a week and operated by a 138 business and economy class seats Airbus A350.


To enhance travel flexibility, Finnair has already announced that a fourth flight will be temporary added for the summer, between June 22nd and August 10th.


By adding the new flight, Finnair allows passengers to travel from Scotland to Hong Kong, Beijing and Seoul in less than 14 hours, transfer included.

The new Edinburgh route joins Finnair's Europe to Asia services, as the airline offers 77 flights a week to 17 destination in Asia, via Helsinki Airport departures.
