Eurowings Adds New Long-haul Routes  

Eurowings, the Düsseldorf-based airline, is adding new long-haul destinations to its portfolio. Beginning with 7 November 2015, Eurowings will offer its customers another appealing long-haul destination. The first service from Cologne to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic will take off this winter.

Flights will takeoff from Cologne every Saturday and tickets can already be bought from € 229.99.

The northern coast of the Dominican Republic is home to the port city of Puerto Plata. Dating since colonial times, the old part of the city is a charming focal point. Puerto Plata has an array of cultural attractions for travellers and can be considered a perfect starting point for the several resorts with pristine beaches on the Amber Coast.

Eurowings is also adding more flights to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and to Dubai. Tickets for these two new destinations have been on sale from € 99.99 since the beginning of this month.

To respond to the increasing demand for travel in the region, Eurowings will operate flights to Punta Cana three times weekly starting 7 November 2015. Also benefitting from three services per week will be Dubai, beginning 17 December 2015. Prices for Punta Cana are from € 229.99, while tickets for the UAE destination can be purchased from €99.99.

This addition means that the German regional airline Eurowings will have a total of six long-haul destinations for its customers in the winter season.
