Emirates Deplyos Latest A380 On Bangkok Route

Airline News

Emirates will deploy the latest A380 on its Dubai to Bangkok route in a move that marks the fourth daily service between the Dubai and Thailand's capital city.

Flight EK376 will operate beginning with December 1st from Dubai to Bangkok, while the return flight will have the number EK377.

This new service with the A380 will add 255 more seats per flight and 3,570 seats per week when compared to the carrier's current Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

"Thailand is a significant market for Emirates, and the A380 has been exceptionally popular with travellers since we debuted the double-decker aircraft service to Thailand in 2009. The addition of this A380 service will give even more travellers the chance to enjoy this revolutionary aircraft."

"The Dubai-Bangkok route is a popular choice for both business and leisure travellers and this newest A380 service will be essential in helping us meet growing passenger demand, as well as provide substantial economic benefits through travel connections and inbound seats," said Emirates divisional senior vice president, commercial operations East, Barry Brown.

Emirates' two-class A380 offers 615 passenger seats, including 58 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 557 seats in Economy Class.

Emirates is the largest A380 aircraft operator in the world, with 64 in its fleet and a further 76 on order.
