Emirates Delights Passengers with Easter Celebrations Onboard and in Lounges

Emirates Airlines celebrates Easter with special treats, traditional dishes, and family-friendly entertainment onboard and in its lounges, catering to passengers flying during the Catholic and Orthodox Easter periods.

Emirates is set to make Easter travels even more memorable for its passengers by offering a special Easter experience both onboard and in its lounges. The airline is embracing the festive spirit of Catholic Easter in March and Orthodox Easter in May with a variety of traditional dishes, sweet treats, and a selection of new family-friendly movies on its ice entertainment system.

Onboard Easter Treats

Passengers flying to select destinations from 29-31 March will be treated to Easter-themed desserts and snacks. Economy Class passengers can look forward to hot cross buns or Easter bread with their meals, along with a carrot cake dessert featuring a très leches sauce. Those in First, Business, and Premium Economy classes will enjoy a chocolate cake with creamy ganache and redcurrants or a strawberry cheesecake adorned with a mini-Easter egg. Children in all classes will receive a festive ‘Happy Easter’ biscuit shaped like an Easter egg. Additionally, the A380 Onboard Lounge will offer customers traditional Easter simnel fruitcake with marzipan.

Orthodox Easter Celebrations

During Orthodox Easter from 5-7 May, flights to Russia, Cyprus, and Greece will feature traditional herb-crusted lamb dishes for First and Business Class customers, complemented by Easter cake, also known as Kulich bread.

Easter Fare in Emirates Lounges

Between 29 March and 1 April, Emirates’ lounges worldwide will serve classic Easter fare. In Dubai's First Class lounges, guests can enjoy lamb chops, roasted potatoes, and vegetables, while the Business Class lounges will offer a rich lamb stew. Both lounges will present an array of Easter-themed cookies and chocolates, ranging from homemade milk chocolate ice cream to chocolate gateaux.

Easter Entertainment on ice

Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system will feature over 6,500 channels, including up to 2,000 movies, many of which are 2024 Academy Award winners. April will see new releases such as "The Color Purple," "The Lesson," and "Wonka," alongside a vast collection of Disney Classics, Marvel Studios films, and the complete Harry Potter series. Special family-friendly new releases for Easter travel include "Wish," "Migration," "Wonka," and "Trolls Band Together."

With these Easter specials, Emirates aims to provide passengers with an enhanced travel experience that combines festive culinary delights with top-tier entertainment, ensuring a memorable journey for families and individuals alike during the holiday season.
