Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico Launch New Route from Boston to Mexico City

Celebrating their joint cooperation, Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico have inaugurated a new flight route connecting Boston with Mexico City, enhancing bilateral travel and trade.

Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico, under their Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA), recently inaugurated a new service connecting Boston (BOS) and Mexico City (MEX). This launch marks a significant expansion of their operations between the United States and Mexico, and also signifies Aeromexico's return to Boston. The event was celebrated with a special ceremony at Logan International Airport.

The ceremony featured notable attendees, including Todd Smith, Director of Aviation Operations for Massport; Felipe Cuellar, Deputy Consul of Mexico in Boston; John Angel, Managing Director of Airport Operations for Delta; and Jose Zapata, Vice President of Sales for North America & Latin America at Aeromexico. Each played a pivotal role in bringing this new route to fruition, underscoring the deepening aviation ties between the two nations.

Passengers on the inaugural flight from Boston to Mexico City were greeted with commemorative gifts, a gesture of appreciation for their participation in this milestone event.
