Travel Awards

The World Travel Awards recognised Coco Reef – Tobago with the Caribbean’s Leading Hotel, for the twelve year in a row

The World Travel Awards gala annually acknowledges and entitles excellence in travel and tourism industry across the globe.

This year's top winner was Coco Reef – Tobago. For the twelfth consecutive year, the establishment won the Caribbean’s Leading Hotel award.

Bermudian John Jefferis, owner of the resort and recent Tourism Hall of Fame member, opened the unique Coco Reef – Tobago in 1996.

Featuring 140 rooms and private white sand beaches and tropical gardens, the luxurious resort is one of the favourite holiday destinations of Hollywood celebrities and VIPs.

WTA President Graham Cooke commented:

“Coco Reef – Tobago has won the award for twelve years in a row for good reason; Coco Reef–Tobago is a shining example of excellence in hospitality and service.

“They have more than earned this honour every year.

“John Jefferis is one of the true pioneers of Caribbean tourism.”

As a future plan, Coco Reef – Tobago will build another 12 Luxury Villas on the spot.
