Celebrity Cruises refurbishes its Summit and Infinity ships

The multi-million dollar refurbishment program plans to upgrade the two Celebrity Cruises vessels – Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Summit
Celebrity Cruises expands its luxurious services by adding a new “Rooftop Terrace” venue on its Celebrity Infinity. Also, the Suite Class experience will be upgraded and one new Tuscan Grille restaurant including a refreshed menu will be added to the cruise ship. The refurbishment of Celebrity Summit will follow in March 2016.
The larger deck space featuring new furniture will offer guests more comfortable “movies and food” and entertainment experiences. The new Rooftop Terrace will also welcome a modern open space for the tourists to enjoy during daytime relaxation. This space will be found on the 12th deck of the ship and will officially open for customers this year on December 5th.
Unveiling the upcoming $8 million refresh plans for the cruise ships, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president of Celebrity Cruises, explains:
“The Rooftop Terrace is a brand-new way to enjoy the great outdoors on a modern luxury holiday.
“The popularity of our Lawn Club venues has shown us that some of the richest moments our guests enjoy are when relaxing in beautiful outdoor spaces.
“In creating the Rooftop Terrace, we wanted to create a hot spot where guests can kick back under the stars in the middle of the ocean, with amazing entertainment and food.”
The Suite Class experience on Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Summit will also receive upgrades, as every Penthouse and Royal Suite will get refreshing touches of new decorations and higher comfort.
“We want these suites to be so luxurious and comfortable that it’s difficult for guests to leave at the end of their holiday. We want the entire ship to turn heads”, Lutoff-Perlo added.
